Surface preparation
- Brush away dust, dirt and foreign matter; remove ridges and form oil.
- On old painted surfaces, wash with a soda and water solution, rinse and allow to dry before filling.
- Apply Penetrating Primer on dusting or flaking surfaces.
Application
- Dilute with water if required.
- Apply a thin, even layer, maximum 1 mm thick.
- For deeper repairs, build up several thin layers, letting each dry before the next.
- Lightly sand the dry surface before painting, preferably within 9 hours of application.
- Clean tools with water after use.
Storage and safety
Store in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight and extreme heat or cold. Unopened containers keep for 12 months; use the oldest stock first. Avoid prolonged eye and skin contact, and refer to the material safety data sheet for details.
