Terrafix W22 is Terraco’s high-strength, flexible cement-based wall tile adhesive, classified C2TE to EN 12004: improved adhesion, reduced slip and extended open time. It is for ceramic, stone and mosaic tiles on interior and exterior walls. Suitable substrates
Sand/cement render, precast concrete, gypsum board, cement fibre board and sound painted walls, interior and exterior. Suitable for ceramic, stone and mosaic tiles.
Preparation, mixing and application
- Make sure the surface is clean. Wet absorbent surfaces thoroughly. Treat dusting surfaces with Penetrating Primer Clear or Terrabond A diluted 1:5.
- Mix a 20 kg bag with 5.2 to 5.6 litres of water for 3 to 5 minutes with a high-speed mixer; rest 5 minutes and remix.
- Spread with the smooth side of a notched trowel, then comb with the notched edge.
- Press tiles in for full contact, before the adhesive skins over.
- Grout after 24 hours with Terragrout G11. Clean tools with water.
