Uses
Plastering and repairing cast-in-situ concrete, lightweight concrete, fair-faced dense concrete, blockwork and brickwork, inside and outside. The finished surface is suitable for painting and wallpapering. Terraco lists it as water resistant and crack resistant with a smooth finish.
Preparation, mixing and application
- Remove loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, oil and paint. Dampen absorbent surfaces with water. In extreme heat or on very absorbent surfaces, prime with Terrabond A diluted 1:5.
- Mix 25 kg of powder with 6.0 to 6.5 litres of water for 3 to 5 minutes with a high-speed mixer or hand agitator. Stand 5 minutes, then re-stir.
- Apply by trowel, 1 to 3 mm thick, and level with a steel float.
- Once set, smooth with a damp wooden or foam float; brush off loose particles when dry.
- Keep the surface moist for the first 48 hours. Clean tools with water.
