Can I roll it?
The data sheet lists only a special spray gun. If you need to roll, Nutex’s sheet lists roller as an option.
Texo Compound or Nutex?
| Texo Compound | Nutex | |
|---|---|---|
| Volume solids | 45% | 65% |
| Dry film per coat | 250 to 500 µm | 250 to 500 µm |
| m² per litre | 1 to 2 | 1.3 to 2.6 |
| Colours | Off-white | White, off-white |

Step 1: prepare the wall
- National’s surface preparation guide calls for high-pressure water washing (2200 psi minimum) on exteriors, then a dry, sound surface free of laitance and efflorescence.
- Prime before spraying. See PVA Primer White and Acrylic Primer (W.B.).
What the numbers mean
Coverage = 45 × 10 ÷ 250 = 1.8 and 45 × 10 ÷ 500 = 0.9 m² per litre, close to the sheet’s 1 to 2. Wet film = 250 ÷ 0.45 ≈ 555 microns, matching its 550.
| Wall area, 1 coat | Light (2 m²/L) | Heavy (1 m²/L) |
|---|---|---|
| 150 m² (boundary wall, both faces) | about 75 L | about 150 L |
| 400 m² (villa exterior) | about 200 L | about 400 L |
Mistakes to avoid
- Rolling it. The sheet lists a special spray gun.
- Topcoating before 24 hours.
