Key properties

Uses and substrates
- Taping and jointing interior gypsum boards and cement boards.
- Skim coating gypsum boards, concrete walls, plastered block walls and sand/cement render.
- Filling joints and hairline cracks.
- Repairing and touching up interior surfaces before painting.
Taping and jointing method
- Brush away dust and debris. Remove ridges, form oil, loose paper and gypsum burrs from board edges. Drive in protruding screw heads.
- Apply compound into the vertical and horizontal gaps and embed the jointing tape.
- Apply the first layer 150 mm wide and level it out.
- Once dry, apply the second layer 200 mm wide and let it dry.
- Apply the third layer 275 mm wide and make it even.
- For corners, fold the tape to a right angle and use the same layering. Screw spots get the same number of applications.
- When dry, sand lightly and remove the dust from the joint.
- Clean tools with water after use.
Storage
Store in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight and extreme heat and cold. Unopened containers keep for 12 months.
